Chocolatier. This passionate chocolate maker is student of Agroindustrial Business Administration, has studies in Languages and International Business. She launched her career as chocolate maker in 2007 by taking the Basic chocolate making course offered by Lourdes de Leon (an Argentinean chocolatier), Later she continued her studies in Chocolate making at the Ecuadorian Academy and gained valuable knowledge from prominent figures of the chocolate industry, she learned chocolate confectionery,chocolate painting, hollow figures and other thecniques. In 2011, she opened a store specializing in cocoa and chocolate called "Cacao y más Cacao." Since then, she has been consistently working to expand the concept of Colombian cocoa quality and educate about special cacaos, terroir, and hot chocolate. As a teacher of master classes in Colombia, she promotes the interest in adopting a "bean to bar" business logic and respecting the product, the process, the environment, and the producers. She is a member of the Gastronomy and Tourism Federation (FEGAT Colombia - Mexico - USA) and represents the Colombian Association of Artisanal chocolate makers and cacao-farmers (ARCHOCOL).
Today, she participates in research activities focused mainly on the cocoa business in the circular economy model and the rescue of the gastronomic tradition based on chocolate in Colombia.
